We operate a zero-tolerance policy towards unsafe practices. Every site begins the day with a safety briefing. Every foreman is SMSTS or SSSTS qualified. And every project is subject to independent audits by our external safety consultant, Construct Safety — ensuring our standards are not just maintained, but continuously improved.

HOW WE PROTECT
Weekly Inspection Reports
Every active site undergoes a comprehensive weekly inspection covering compliance with CDM regulations, PPE adherence, housekeeping standards, and hazard identification. Reports are documented, shared with the client, and any corrective actions are tracked to closure within 48 hours.
Site Audit Reporting
Detailed site audit reports provide full transparency on safety performance across every project. These audits benchmark our sites against industry standards, identify trends, and feed directly into our continuous improvement programme — ensuring we never stand still on safety.
External Safety Consultant
We engage Construct Safety as our independent external safety consultant. Their specialist oversight provides an impartial assessment of our safety practices, giving clients confidence that our standards are verified by a recognised third party — not just self-assessed.
SMSTS / SSSTS Qualified Foremen
All site foremen hold SMSTS or SSSTS qualifications, ensuring every project has competent, trained supervision managing safety from the ground up. This means safety decisions are made by qualified professionals who are present on site every day.
HOW WE WORK
Our inspection and reporting process is designed to be thorough without being bureaucratic. Each week, our foremen conduct a structured site walk covering every area of the active works — from scaffold integrity and material storage to welfare facilities and signage.
Findings are documented in a standardised report that is shared with the client and our management team. Any issues flagged as high priority are addressed immediately, with photographic evidence of resolution. Lower priority items are tracked through to completion within an agreed timeframe.
This process runs alongside the independent audits carried out by Construct Safety, creating a dual layer of accountability that ensures nothing falls through the cracks.
OUR ACCREDITATIONS
We hold industry-leading accreditations that demonstrate our commitment to safety, quality, and professional standards. These certifications are independently assessed and regularly renewed — providing our clients with verified assurance of our competence.
CQMS
The Construction Qualification Management System verifies our supply chain competence and ensures all operatives hold the correct qualifications and training for their roles on site.
CHAS
The Contractors Health & Safety Assessment Scheme is a SSIP-recognised accreditation demonstrating that our health and safety policies, procedures, and track record meet a nationally accepted standard.
SMAS
The Safety Management Advisory Services accreditation provides independent validation that our safety management systems are robust, current, and aligned with legislative requirements.
CITB
As a CITB-registered employer, we contribute to the Construction Industry Training Board levy and invest in workforce development — ensuring our teams have access to ongoing training and career progression.
